Staff at the Royal United Hospital have been recognised for their work in improving the environment.
The hospital's Team Green group were presented with an energy efficiency award at the Health Service Journal's Efficiency Awards 2012.
The team is made up of a group of staff from across the hospital who work together to improve the environment by coming up with ideas for cutting carbon waste and saving both energy and money.
The hospital has put in mini-combined heat and power units in the residential blocks, which generate electricity and heat for the accommodation.
As well as this the hospital is promoting greener travel for staff, installing new cycle sheds and shower facilities, offering discounted bus tickets to workers, and half-price parking for those who share cars.
