E.ON UK CHP is part of E.ON UK, one of the UK's leading energy suppliers and part of the E.ON group, the world’s largest investor owned utility company. E.ON UK CHP owns and operates the combined heat and power interests of the Company. We have invested over £480 million in larger scale CHP schemes in the UK and continue to be a leader in this part of the market. We currently provide our customers with more than 577MW of electricity and 948 MW of heat.
Our customer base includes companies in the paper, chemical, tyre and oil refining sectors as well as two hospitals, a port facility and the City of London. In addition to our specialist CHP skills and experience, we have access to the wider power generation, supply and trading resources of E.ON UK.
We are continually working with our customers to maximise the benefit of our CHP assets by reducing costs, increasing CHP plant efficiency and reducing emissions to the environment.
Although we are not currently actively seeking to expand our CHP portfolio, we will consider new larger scale CHP opportunities as and when they arise.
