The CHPA Annual Awards 2001 followed a 'flight' aboard the London Eye
and were held aboard 'The Symphony' as it sailed the Thames on
12 July. The awards were presented by Lord Wade of Chorlton, President
of the Combined Heat and Power Association.
The awards are a recognition of excellence in the CHP field, and aim
to promote the social, economic and environmental benefits of CHP and
community heating. They also aim to encourage innovation and best practice
in order to ensure that achievements in the industry are recognised.
