13 November 2003: CHPA
National Conference
CHPA's 2003 National Conference took place on Thursday 13 November at the
Horticultural Halls in London The Association's National Conference is the
lead annual event for the UK CHP industry and this year the Conference took
as its theme 'A Commitment to CHP'. The event focused on some of the
most critical issues facing the CHP industry today and also looked to the
longer term, particularly the aspirations Government have laid out in this
year's Energy White Paper and how the Government can finally deliver an effective
national CHP Strategy which will prove their future commitment to CHP.

Ofgem and The Institute of Electrical Engineers held an event focussing on
the need for change in the way electricity networks operate, relating specifically
to the uptake of microgeneration. The event was held at the IEE, Savoy Place

Envirenergy held a conference, split into three half-days on 12-13 February.
The event, which is being held at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, will look

A seminar looking at carbon as a commodity in the emerging energy trading
