The Conference was followed by a Dinner at the Science Museum

11 October 2006: Utilising Community Heating and CHP Seminar
Creative Environmental Networks (CEN) are organising a seminar and site visit on 11 October 2006 to the Barkantine Heat and Power community heating scheme.
The seminar will include information on how heating networks operate, how to meter and bill residents, how to finance installations and the future important role of district heating in London. More information on their website.

October 2006: Embedded Generator briefing sessions: Are you up to speed with key issues affecting smaller-scale power generation?
The CHPA have been working alongside a number of trade associations who have grouped together to collectively represent their Members’ interests on a series of industry/government technical panels. To inform Members of key issues they should be aware of two sets of dissemination meetings are taking place - the first in November 2006, and then Spring 2007. Attendance at these meetings is free of charge, and is open to all embedded and small-scale generators and project developers. It is not restricted to members of the participating trade associations. 8 September 2006: CHPA Seminiar - Planning and Community Heating
The Association has arranged a free seminar examining the role of planning in the development of CHP and district energy schemes. The seminar took place at The Leeds Club, Albion Place, Future Energy Yorkshire and Yorkshire Forward.
